Lloyd Morgan Lions Clubs Charitable Trust
The Lloyd Morgan Lions Clubs Charitable Trust was established in 1979-80 in honour of Lloyd Morgan the Lion and to commemorate Lloyd's year as President of the International Association of Lions Clubs.
The Trust has become the Multiple District resource for the charitable work of the Lions of New Zealand. It benefits sick, disabled or distressed people in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. It helps in the field of education as well.
It has been able to assist with numerous appeals and projects and hundreds of thousands of dollars have been given to clubs by way of grants or loans to assist with a multitude of club projects.
The Trust earns its income from a variety of investments that form part of a significant capital base which continues to be built up with Lions Club support.
