Wearing odd shoes will help Camp Quality support children living with cancer

Wednesday 4th July 2012

Since 1985 Lions of New Zealand have provided support to Camp Quality as they provide camps for children living with cancer.  During that time hundreds of children have benefited from Lions’ generosity.

Twenty-seven years on, it seems clear that for Camp Quality to continue to provide their programmes they must broaden the base of their financial support.  Consequently they have decided to launch their first nationwide promotion and funding venture – Odd Shoe Day on Friday 14 September.

Lions are invited to participate in this unique event. “Odd Shoe Day” is an easy, inexpensive and fun way to introduce people to the work of Camp Quality NZ

Lions clubs and the general public are encouraged to participate by promoting and wearing mismatched or unusual shoes for the day.  Even if you don’t wish to wear odd shoes, you are still invited to register because there are other ways you can join in the fun.
