Kassius can't walk - but he will be mobile thanks to Lions

Young Kassius Hepi will never get to walk a single step but more than 2000 kilometres has been walked to ensure his mobility.

The Onerahi 4-year-old has the extremely rare genetic disorder Pallister-Killian syndrome which results in abnormal facial features, seizures, low muscle tone, hearing difficulties and global developmental delay.

His family members have been struggling to lift the youngster in and out of their vehicle along with his wheelchair and oxygen tank.

But the Hepi family now has a van with an electronic wheelchair lift thanks to Onerahi Lions Club.
