Cute, colourful and creative are some of the words used to describe the entries in the 2012 Heads Up for Kids Primary School competition.
Earlier this year primary schools across the country were asked to participate in the ‘Design a New $5 Note’ competition and go in to win 3 prizes of $400 in Resene paints vouchers.
Over 100 entries were submitted from more than twenty schools across the country. On Monday the Heads Up for Kids counting team picked ten designs based on the designs reference to New Zealand identity. These ten designs have been uploaded to the Heads Up for Kids Facebook page, where the public are asked to help Lions decide on the winners by casting their vote.
To participate in the voting you must go to www.facebook.com/Headsupforkids and become a fan of the Heads Up for Kids page by clicking 'Like' button, then go to photos and open the album titled "2012 HU4Ks Primary School Primary School Competition Finalists"
From there, simply scroll through the ten finalists and nominate your favourite by clicking ‘like’ or leaving a positive comment under your chosen design.
Heads Up for Kids would like to say a big thank you to Resene for sponsoring the prizes!
