Types of Clubs

|
There are 410 Lions Clubs throughout New Zealand that are open for membership for men and women aged 18 plus. Some clubs are all male, some all-female and some mixed. Lions Club members are a distinct group of individuals making a significant impact in their local community as well as communities worldwide. Under this umbrella, there are also New Century clubs for younger adults, Pakeke clubs for older people, Leo clubs for students and Lioness clubs that are exclusively female. There is also an international pin-trading club for those with this special interest. Members are Lions Clubs' most important assets. Their service efforts go beyond the support of vision care, and they address unmet health and education needs, disaster relief, youth recreation and much more. As a Lions Club member you grow personally and professionally by gaining an understanding and having an impact on your community and international humanitarian issues. |
