Funds help kids in adversity - Taranaki’s Mellowpuff Trust has been boosted by $3,500 raised by Bell Block Puketapu Lions.

With the assistance of fellow club members, treasurer Pauline Christie held open gardens at her Fitzroy home for 10 days during the Taranaki Fringe Garden Festival, which finished in November. Through the sale of plants, food and a raffle, $3,500 was raised and donated to the Mellowpuff Trust, which helps youngsters struggling with adversity.
