Lions recognise that New Zealand’s most valuable resource is its young people. They recognise the importance of noticing and helping young people with talent to reach their full potential.

Lions have developed a range of programmes from Lions Quest which starts with new entrants through to overseas youth exchanges, young ambassador, speechmaker and music competitions for older students.

Lions provide a helping hand for young people to participate in outdoor education such as the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre, The Spirit of Adventure and Outward Bound.
