When it comes to people’s health and the ability to make lives more comfortable, Lions have a proud track record On countless occasions in New Zealand where there’s been a shortfall between government funding and the needs of the community, Lions have stepped forward with a fundraising solution to bridge the gap. Cancer care, blood pressure testing, hearing, diabetes, liver transplants, children’s hospitals, child mobility through to providing for the special needs of the elderly, the list is endless. "Gorgeous 'home away from home' retreat, especially for our daughter. It was more than adequate; it felt like a dream holiday. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience" the family said after their stay. |
