No person may use the association's name, goodwill, trademarks, service marks or the Lions Clubs International emblem in any manner except upon licence granted by the association or under the Emblem Use Policies of the Association.

The Lions Clubs International Trademark Policies are available on the Lions Clubs International Website http://www.lionsclubs.org along with details on how to apply for a licence or permission to use.

Pursuant to those policies Lions, Lions Clubs and Districts are automatically permitted to use the Association's name and emblems in furtherance of the association's purposes and club or district operations, projects and community service so long as they comply with the policies, except no Lion, Lions Club or Lions District may use the association's emblem on any item sold to Lions or the general public for fundraising purposes.
