RE: International President's Membership Achievement Award

Dear Lion Robert Macleod:

Congratulations! Our records show that your club met the club presidents' award criteria by achieving positive net growth for the year ending June 30, 2013. This is a significant accomplishment and you should be extremely proud of the outcome of your efforts and contributions to "A World of Service."

Membership growth not only benefits the association but it also directly impacts our communities, both locally and globally; through increased numbers of volunteers working to make a difference and serve those who need help the most.

Therefore, it is with great pleasure that I forward your crystal pin to you with appreciation for your contribution to membership growth and in a "World of Service" your club's efforts to improve your local community.

Sincerely,

Wayne A. Madden

Immediate Past International President

"Well done with your well deserved award. It must be nice to realise that you are valued in your community. Nobody sets out with the intention of " winning " awards you just selflessly got on with it."

The Volunteer of the Year award recoganises teh individual achievement, while also praising all voluntary effort. Its the ultimate in volunteer recognition for a job,or jobs well done. It also provides the nominating organisation, or in my case many organisations with an oppotunity to publicly thank whose who I have helped and thoese that have helped me make Raglan a better place to be involved with. Thank you all!
