The Lions Club of Kairanga comprises an area on the outskirts of Palmerston North. Chartered in 1973, the Club has approximately 50 members.
The Club has many activities that we take part in. One of our main activities is fireworks. Each year we light up the sky at events like the Manfield Fireworks Spectaular, and at the Palmerston North, Wanganui and Napier Speedways.

For fundraising we usher at the Manawatu Turbo Rugby home games and man the car park at the Central Districts Field Days.

We also have an ongoing relationship with Sixtus Lodge, where we have built steps, cleaned walkways, fought wasp nests and a variety of other helpful projects for them.

We have also been known to do the odd catering job!
We are a very friendly, informal group, who support each other and have fun.
